Bosch H / M / P / R electronically controlled in-line pumps
One ERT45R control platform for electronically controlled Bosch in-line pumps, from P-size applications up to H-size pumps.
The programming kit enables ERT45R to control the electronic governor fitted to Bosch H, M, P and R in-line injection pumps while retaining the same operator environment used across the ERT45R platform.

Enables the ERT45R operating functions required for electronically controlled Bosch H, M, P and R in-line pumps.
2 m basic cable
Provides the common connection between ERT45R and the application-specific pump adapter cable.
Adapter cable 81.03.104
Supplied with the kit for connectors documented on IVECO, VOLVO and SCANIA applications. It is similar to Bosch reference 0 986 610 104.
Additional adapter cables are available for the different connectors used across other engine and pump applications.

Step-by-step documentation supports setup and operation of the application.
Test data access
Registration provides access to the specific test plans available for pumps connected through the supplied adapter cable, subject to the applicable licence conditions.
CONTROLLED GOVERNOR POSITION
Control the complete governor travel between START and STOP
Unlike rotary-pump applications that may include an advance piston, these in-line pumps do not require an advance-piston reference. The controlled variable is the governor position.
ERT45R works between the two mechanical end positions of the governor travel: START stop and STOP stop. Within that available stroke, the operator can command the governor position continuously, make fine adjustments and move through the travel using the accelerator function or recall stored positions from memory.

ERT45R can read the speed sensor and display RPM when the application provides the corresponding signal.
Current protection and short-circuit protection safeguard the regulator control circuit.
One control unit from P to H
Different pump sizes and actuator currents do not require a collection of separate control power supplies.
One of the practical Total Cost of Ownership advantages of ERT45R is the ability of the control unit to cover the different electrical demands encountered across electronically controlled Bosch in-line pumps, from P-size applications through H-size pumps.
Where alternative testing arrangements may require different power supplies for different current ranges, ERT45R keeps the control hardware consolidated in the same programmable unit. The workshop changes the application software and the appropriate pump connection—not the central control platform.

SPECIFIC H-PUMP OPTION
ALI15 81.21.204 for prestroke magnet testing
ALI15 is not required to provide normal power to the H-pump governor. ERT45R already covers the governor-control requirements across the supported P-to-H range.
The external 81.21.204 ALI15 power supply is an optional unit for the specific prestroke magnet / solenoid armature stroke function on H pumps.
The application investment remains inside the ERT45R ecosystem
The programming smartcard is the application key, not the application investment itself. It is authorized for the ERT45R serial number for which the kit was purchased.
If the physical card is lost or damaged, a replacement can be requested when the original kit purchase can be documented. Workshops operating two ERT45R units can request cards authorized for both units, providing operational flexibility without purchasing the programming kit twice.

The common ERT45R operator environment reduces the need to learn a different control architecture every time another electronically controlled pump family is added.
Application-specific documentation and training can complement the programming kit when the workshop needs support integrating the new capability into its existing test-bench workflow.
