Extend ERT45R pressure control to higher-flow Common Rail pumps
This pressure-control-valve upgrade adapts the 87.11.030A Testing Accumulator Assembly for Common Rail pumps whose flow rates are above typical automotive requirements.
The upgrade is used when the standard pressure-control arrangement needs greater flow-handling capability. It keeps the existing ERT45R Common Rail architecture while extending the hydraulic pressure-regulation layer for suitable heavy-duty applications.
Designed as an upgrade to the Testing Accumulator
Higher-flow applications
The existing product documentation identifies Denso HP0, Bosch CP2, Caterpillar C6.6 and Cummins XPI as examples of applications requiring pressure regulation at flow rates above typical automotive standards.
Direct integration
The supplied pressure control valve and its holder interface with the 87.11.030A Testing Accumulator Assembly, allowing the existing Common Rail test architecture to be adapted rather than replaced.
Where it fits in the ERT45R Common Rail system
The ERT45R provides electronic control, the Testing Accumulator provides the high-pressure hydraulic interface, and the FL400/A provides continuous flow measurement. 87.11.167 upgrades the pressure-control stage when the application requires higher flow capacity.
Important: this product is an upgrade component for the Testing Accumulator Assembly; it is not a stand-alone Common Rail test system.
