Zexel VRZ: the Covec-F control concept, adapted to the VRZ family
ERT45R provides the electronic control layer required to test compatible Zexel VRZ rotary pumps on a suitable conventional diesel test bench.
The underlying operating concept is essentially the same as for Zexel Covec-F: the existing bench provides mechanical drive and fuel-delivery measurement, while ERT45R operates the pump electronics. VRZ then adds a few application-specific diagnostic options.

Enables the ERT45R functions required for the Zexel VRZ application.

Provides the common connection from ERT45R to the pump-specific adapter layer.

The 81.07.007 VRZ interface is used with the universal 81.01.1001 electronic advance sensor to measure advance-piston travel on the VRZ application.
This extends ERT45R from electronic pump control to direct measurement of the mechanical response of the advance system.
81.01.2042 pressure-valve test kit
Dedicated VRZ equipment for checking pressure and flow behaviour of the pressure valve and valve head as an additional diagnostic operation.

One ERT45R platform, another pump family
The workshop retains the same ERT45R control unit and adds the VRZ application, the required 81.06.235 connection cable and, where useful, the VRZ-specific advance and pressure-valve test equipment.
As with the other ERT45R applications, the smartcard is the application key rather than a disposable application investment. If the card is lost or damaged, the application can be restored for the authorized ERT45R when the original purchase can be documented.
