We confirm that Motorpal uses a specific fine-spline geometry which is not shared with Bosch, Zexel, CAV systems.
Motorpal inline pumps of the M-series (M8 / M10), EP, MN and related variants are equipped with delivery-valve holders that require a dedicated Motorpal fine-spline tool.
Using the correct Motorpal-type tool is essential to prevent damage to the valve-holder nut or the pump head, as the Motorpal spline profile differs significantly from other manufacturers.
If any users need help identifying whether their pump requires this tool, feel free to post a picture of the pump nameplate or the delivery-valve holder, and our technical team will assist.
